Digital Marketing Strategy for New York’s Largest Poverty-Fighting Organization
In 2013, I became the lead digital strategist for Robin Hood. In that role, I focused on improving the digital experience for the core donor base, while also establishing a content driven marketing strategy to amplify Robin Hood’s work and mission. My contributions included an overhaul and rebuild of Robin Hood’s website, including a new web hosting platform and establishing relationships with a myriad of technology partners, all of which served as a base for our new outward bound digital marketing strategy.
In partnership with the rest of the marketing team, we were able to significantly amplify awareness of Robin Hood’s mission. We established media partnerships with groups such as Upworthy and Mashable and also produced Webby award-winning content.

I created Robin Hood’s first mobile-responsive website, optimizing the donation experience for supporters around the globe.
In partnership with Columbia’s Population Research Center and Fathom, we created an interactive, web-based snapshot of what poverty looks like in New York City.
The Robin Hood Poverty Tracker is a long-term study of well-being and disadvantage in New York City that follows a group of people over time. Conducted in partnership with Columbia University, the Poverty Tracker was created to provide private funders, service providers, government agencies, and others with a better understanding of how people move into and out of poverty, where they turn for help, and more.
