Each year, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan sponsors a Japanese cuisine awareness month that aims to promote trade with US-based restaurants and grocery stores.
An O-Fish-Al Japanese Cuisine Campaign
Each year, Japanese Food Supporter month seeks to build awareness around authentic Japanese cuisine. I was employed to devise a paid social media and influencer marketing campaign with the goal of driving foodies in New York, Los Angeles and Washington DC to participating restaurants.
Location-based and interest group targeted ads on Facebook and Instagram drove audience members to a campaign landing page where users could browser participating restaurants near them.
Working in tandem with the Facebook ad campaign, I worked with influencers in Japanese cuisine that had substantial reach in New York City, Los Angeles and DC.
